"These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. (John 14:25-26)
John seems to have much to say about the Holy Spirit's role...
"As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him." 1 John 2:27
Then there is this from Paul: "these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God." 1 Cor. 2:10
Man has closed the official Word of God. I don't think God is done speaking. We can test revelation by what he has already said and it should not conflict, but the Holy Spirit continues to teach us the deep things of God
